My lived experience has made me who I am. I want this to be the best country to grow up in with opportunities for all. That’s why I champion Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) and go into local schools to talk about careers in these subjects.

I’ve also been a champion for mental health, being a trustee and a manager of a local mental health charity.

And I’m also recognised as an advocate for equalities, where my support for the LGBT+ community has led to award nominations.
